Ali Kaptein started as an academic counselor at USC in Fall 2012. She advises Men’s and Women’s Volleyball, Women’s Sand Volleyball, and Women’s Crew.
Prior to working as an academic counselor, Ali earned a Masters of Education from USC in Post-Secondary Administration and Student Affairs with a concentration in athletic administration. While pursuing her graduate degree she worked in Student-Athlete Academic Services for two years as a learning assistant, a graduate intern, and an assistant tutorial coordinator. Ali earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut in Communication with a minor in Business. While at UConn, Ali was a student worker in the athletic marketing department.
Born and raised in New Jersey, currently resides in Brentwood.
