Susie Cognetta

Susie Cognetta has been at SAAS since April 2006.

She received her Master’s in Counseling from Cal State University Dominguez Hills as well as her PPS credential in School Psychology and School Counseling.

Susie graduated with a B.S. in General Studies with a minor in Spanish from the University of Southern California where she earned a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a BCLAD in Spanish. Susie received an athletic scholarship for soccer (1997-2001). She was a member of the Women’s Mexican National Soccer Team for 6 years and participated in the 1999 Women’s World Cup. She loves to spend time with her family and friends.

Why did you choose USC:
– Because it is an honor and a privilege to be a Trojan. USC is my family, I grew up here.

Favorite Food:
– All foods. I love food. Some of my favorites are pizza, steak, huevos rancheros, tacos, sushi, and desserts.

Favorite Musical Performer:
– Mana, Jack Johnson, Cold Play

– I like to eat, workout, and hang out with my family and friends

Fun random fact about yourself:
– One of my favorite snacks is tapatio and popcorn.
