Ashley Arroyo joined the Student-Athlete Academic Services department as a Learning Specialist in September of 2022. She provides holistic support to a diverse population of student-athletes with the goal of guiding them towards graduation. Prior to arriving to SAAS, Ashley served as an Academic Advisor at Georgia Southern University, Student-Athlete Services where she worked with the Women’s Basketball, Softball and Men’s Tennis programs.
Ashley received her Master’s degree in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs from USC in August of 2021. While pursuing her Master’s, Ashley served as an Assistant Learning Specialist with SAAS. Born and raised in Connecticut, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Services from the University of Bridgeport in May of 2020.
Her prior experience as a former collegiate D1/D2 student-athlete and work with high-performing athletes has allowed Ashley to realize her passion for empowering students and bridging the gap between academics and athletics. She looks forward to stepping into this new chapter at USC where she can continue to make an impact as an ambitious Latina woman.
Ashley loves spending time with her friends and family, and can usually be found working out, hiking, on a basketball court, exploring new restaurants or at a USC competition on the weekends!
