Sam came to USC in August 2022 as the Academic Advisor for Women’s Basketball and Men’s and Women’s Water Polo. Prior to joining USC, Sam was a Senior Academic Counselor at Southern Methodist University working with Football, Women’s Basketball, and Women’s Tennis. She also served as a graduate assistant for Athletics Student Services at SMU. Before her time at SMU, she was an Academic Mentor at UCLA.
Sam graduated from Long Beach State with her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and graduated from SMU with her MEd in Higher Education. During her time at Long Beach, Sam was a member of the Women’s Water Polo Team.
